Hadith on Marriage: Marry the loving and fruitful to increase the righteous Muslims

Anas ibn Malik reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, commanded us to get married and he strongly prohibited us from celibacy and he said, “Marry the loving and fruitful, for I desire the most followers from the prophets on the Day of Resurrection.”

عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَأْمُرُ بِالْبَاءَةِ وَيَنْهَى عَنْ التَّبَتُّلِ نَهْيًا شَدِيدًا وَيَقُولُ تَزَوَّجُوا الْوَدُودَ الْوَلُودَ إِنِّي مُكَاثِرٌ الْأَنْبِيَاءَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ
